PROBABILITY SAMPLING IN REVIEW
 

    While probability sampling requires a degree of statistical reasoning and calculation, I think you will find it's not too taxing.  The potential that probability sampling offers to quantitative social researchers is substantial.  Moreover, the logic of probability sampling is a useful backdrop when you need to make selections in qualitative research.
