Chapter Nine. Survey Research
INTERVIEW SURVEYS
The Role of the Survey Interviewer
General Guidelines for Survey Interviewing
Coordination and Control
Sometimes, surveys are conducted face-to-face, with an interviewer asking questions from the questionnaire and recording the responses. Typically, this results in a higher response rate, but it costs much more than a mail survey.

Finally, we'll talk a little about how to train and
supervise a team of interviewers in a large survey.
